Our invited speaker will be Miriam Butt. Miriam Butt is Professor for General and Computational Linguistics at the University of Konstanz. She is well known for her work on grammar engineering (LFG and PARGRAM) and as her work on Urdu. Recently, she has begun working on visualizing linguistic patterns for topics such as language change as well as argumentation in politics.
